Numis Network - Should you Market Money?

Numis Network is a company that launched in August 2009 marketing precious metal coins. This is a fresh new approach in the network marketing industry and the company will pick up some momentum based on their unique product. Numis Network is a young company, but the leaders are far from being young in the industry. Its founding partners, Ian Cordell, Chris Kent and Jake Kevorkian have a 2 decade network marketing and direct sales experience. Positives to Numis Network


The first thing is that Gold and Silver coins are relatively easy to talk about. Most MLM companies have the issue that a new distributor has to get really educated to even share it in an effective way. Not a Problem with Numis. You can hold up a Silver coin and say, I sell money? and you'll get a bunch of people raising their eyebrows.

The other positives to the Numismatic product line is that it's already a proven industry where people spend a lot of money, that is relatively untapped in the MLM industry. As of right now, you won't run into a lot of competing network marketing companies promoting a less expensive, more effective coin.
The 3rd thing to mention just on the business model front is that Numis has leadership experienced in their specific industry. Having a person like Mike Mezack onboard will really help the company.
Negatives of Numis Network:

There has been 2 big problems historically with selling Gold and Silver coins. First, you can't mark up a fixed value product enough to significantly pay a Network Marketing downline. For example Amway sells soap that they create themself, and they mark it up enough to pay a hefty commission to their sales force, which keeps their top producing distributors in the game.

How much can you mark up a product with a fixed market value? Not much. As a result, The Numis Network pays out less of their actual product sales volume than any company I know of except two. To be exact on this one, they pay out about $6 per coin that is sold in the lesser leg of an organization (more on the comp plan in a bit). They pay out a total of about $30 throughout the comp plan on a $99 coin. That is 40% less than almost any company I've seen hit the market place since 2000.  Essentially, you have to have 10 times the actual team size for the same residual income of a competing company with a better payout on the actual sales volume.

The other negative to  Numis is that their actual product is not innovative, can't be patented, can't be copyrighted, and can be knocked off at any time by any competitor, with no more effort than a big company with lots of money buying a bunch of coins. To compete with most companies, you would have to innovate a whole new product line. For example, let's say Amway sees the growth of Numis and wants a piece of the pie. They can immediately enter the industry with no innovation, effort, or work and start a price war because of their superior, already established massive distribution network.

Moving on to a couple of other thoughts we've had on Numis, the actual value of Numismatics is in constant flux, and it's a tossup whether or not it's worth it to pay a premium for a 'graded' coin. The problem with selling pure silver coins through an MLM model is that there isn't any profit. So you're stuck between a coin and a hard place.

What's the deal with Numis Network's Coins?

Representatives of the company and customers who subscribe receive a silver or gold coin monthly. The coins are competitively priced and come with MS70 certification. In the coin world that is the highest certification that a coin can receive. From our perspective, there is nothing in the world that would make us pay $99 for approximately $17 in silver (current, approximate market value of one ounce of silver.) In bad times (listen to Mark Yarnell's '15 years left' to see where we're headed - just Google it),Numismatics lose all market value outside of the actual value of silver. Essentially, that means that no one is going to pay a 500% premium for an extra shiny coin. Now that's just our opinion - but it's something to chew on (or maybe polish?).



 Numis Network will it Last?

At the moment the company is attracting some affluent consumers who see value in purchasing a product that is not consumable and is essentially an asset. Bottom line As with any new company, your success heavily depends on your ability to recruit distributor’s. You should be able to recruit 10-20+ distributors per month.
